What is Therapeutic Lomi Lomi Level 2?
Therapeutic Lomi Lomi Massage Level 2 is an advanced massage training designed for practitioners who have completed Heartworks Lomi Lomi Level 1 and want to work more therapeutically with clients.
This accredited practitioner course focuses on treating common tension patterns, chronic discomfort, and movement restrictions using holistic Lomi Lomi techniques that are effective, flowing, and sustainable for the practitioner.
Over 7 immersive days (split into two sessions—4 days, then 3 days), you'll deepen your Lomi Lomi skills with advanced therapeutic techniques that help you treat real client issues — while protecting your own body and honouring the heart of the work.
This Level 2 training blends therapeutic problem-solving, intuitive flow, and practitioner sustainability, giving you confidence in both your hands and your decision-making.

Course Details
This advanced Hawaiian massage training runs for 7 days total, split into two sessions of 4 days followed by 3 days, with a 2-3 week gap between.
Completion of Heartworks Lomi Lomi Level 1 is required.
The course is IICT approved advanced practitioner training, held in Toowoomba, Queensland, with small, intimate class sizes ensuring personalized attention.

Just a few answers to our most common questions.
Our training school is based in Toowoomba, Queensland,. However, we will run training throughout South East Queensland and overseas as requested. Please contact us if you would like to know more.
I’ve taken Lomi Lomi before, do I still need to start at level 1?
Every teacher has their own unique gift and way of teaching, therefore students are required to start at level 1 in order to avoid the feeling of overwhelm that comes from inexperience as well as the basic body mechanics necessary to avoid injury to themselves or their clients.
If you have completed Heartworks lomi lomi beforehand and can show proof, you may apply for a reduction in price for level 1, however you will still be required to attend.
When Lomi is a path that you are passionate about, no training will be wasted but will all serve the greater understanding of the practice as a whole. Because you have learned from another teacher, it will assist you with a more rapid integration.
Will I recieve a certificate for my courses?
After each course is completed, students receive a certificate of completion with the Nationally Approved Provider verification information for continuing education points.
Currently, we are certified with MAA (Massage Association of Australia).
Don't I need to have a cert IV or Remedial Massage to be a massage therapist?
As Australia and New Zealand are deregulated in massage therapy the certificate IV is NOT the minimum certificate to start your massage career or business.
Via our 2.5 days “Heartwork Lomi Lomi Course” you can work legally and professionally.
If some training centres told you the minimum certificate is Cert. IV to start your massage career IT IS 100% WRONG and it is only because of their business and their policy.
To earn the qualifications to have a health provider number, then you will need to study remedial massage, however this course will allow you to work and earn full hourly rate while you are studying, if you choose to.

What is the Refund Policy?
If, for any reason, you need to cancel*, a 15% of workshop fees will be charged and the remaining portion fully refunded.
Cancellation 30 days before the course begins, 50% will be refunded.
Once the course begins, there will be no refunds.
Any fees collected may be used for another Lomi Lomi training up to one year from original class date.
*For Covid-19 related cancellations, you may transfer your tuition to another Debbie K Barker training event of your choice with no fee.
